Applications Manager-Supply Chain RESPONSIBILITIES: ·
Manages
and leads a team of Business Systems Analysts and Developers. ·
Leads
the designs and implementation of new customer projects and business
programs. ·
Motivates
employees to reach business, performance, and career goals. ·
Develops
productive business relationships with internal/external customers and the
executive management and steering committees. ·
Identifies
improvement opportunities within customer’s Value Chain. ·
Leads
continuous improvements from conceptualization through design, build,
testing, and rollout. ·
Provides
expertise for both business process and applications/systems (Oracle,
integration, user interface). ·
Demonstrates
thought leadership model: Create, Participate, Present and Execute IT
Roadmaps. QUALIFICATIONS: ·
Deep
and extensive skills with Oracle eBusiness Suite (11i or later); Order
Management, BOM, WIP and Inventory are required. ·
Minimum
ten years of Business Analyst, Development, Management, or Consulting
experience is required. ·
Minimum
of five years experience in Project Management and/or Resource Management. ·
Experience
with Oracle eBusiness Suite projects involving custom development and
integration. ·
Bachelor’s
degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Operations, or
Logistics strongly preferred. ·
Strong
understanding of Supply Chain business processes and proven experience in the
execution of improving these processes using technology. ·
Knowledge
of commonly used concepts and best practices for the distribution industry. ·
Functional
knowledge of order fulfillment, planning, purchasing, warehousing, light
assembly, distribution, and transportation is a must. ·
Strong
communication skills (written, verbal) and an executive presence. ·
Knowledgeable
in relational databases and SQL. ·
Solid
problem-solving skills, organizational skills and ability to multi-task. ·
Knowledge
of Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) module preferred. |
